The “Blossom School” designed by Karv One Design started from a beautiful storybook. With the scene design that leads the story, the entire space becomes a huge performing venue. From the moment children entering the space, it is like traveling through a wonderful storybook, becoming the protagonist in the story, starting a wonderful journey, allowing children to give full play to their creativity and spirit of exploration, and feel the spiritual power brought by the story world.
Design characters that children like
As one of the most significant factors of a story, characters/IPs are important figures that promote the development of the storyline. A children’s space is full of stories and characters will leave a deep impression on children and increase the possibility of their revisiting. The character and IP design of the children’s space must be recognizable and friendly. The characters should have positive icons and personality and be able to become role models for children.
In the design of Blossom School, Granny Blossom who loves education, Grandpa Spoon with superb cooking skills, the naughty and cute Super Bobby and the loving Elf Blossom appear everywhere. The design team completely combines beauty with education. The role of “Space Guardian” is scattered in various scenes in different forms to connect the whole story.
The implantation of the “Space Guardian” role allows children to get into the story, open up their imagination, and start an attracting journey of exploration.
The atmosphere of the story
The atmosphere of the story, also known as narrative experience, designs an engaging story by integrating multiple sensory elements and emotional triggers.
In the spatial design, narrative design can be used to integrate story elements into the space layout and entertainment facilities, allowing the story to flow naturally in the space. Designers ensure all design elements, including colors, materials, decorations, etc., are consistent with the theme and storyline to enhance the narrative of story.
